Who We Work With

Our clients are Arkansas families, business owners, farm families, and professionals who have accumulated meaningful assets and need a thoughtful, comprehensive legal plan. They typically come to us through referrals from financial advisors, CPAs, insurance professionals, bank trust officers, and other attorneys — because the legal and financial dimensions of estate and business planning are inseparable, and the best outcomes happen when advisors work together.

How We Work With Referring Advisors

We follow the client’s lead on advisor involvement — and we welcome yours.

Some clients want their financial advisor or CPA in the room for key meetings. Others prefer to keep those relationships separate. Either way, the legal plan we design will be coordinated with what you are doing. If you have questions about how we are approaching a matter, concerns about how a planning structure might affect the client’s broader financial plan, or context we should factor in, we want to hear it. The best outcomes for mutual clients happen when advisors communicate openly.

We will not disrupt your client relationship.

Our role is legal planning. Yours is financial, tax, or insurance planning. We are not interested in crossing those lines, and we actively encourage clients to stay engaged with the advisors who have served them well. Referring a client to us should strengthen the overall advisory relationship, not create friction.

We have a structured process — and we hope you will help prepare your clients for it.

Our engagement begins with a detailed client questionnaire and a two-hour design meeting. Clients who arrive having thought about their goals and gathered basic information about their assets get significantly more out of that first meeting. Sharing our process page with them before the introduction makes a real difference.

Educational Events and Presentations

Several of our attorneys have presented at advisor-organized events covering estate planning, business succession, elder law, and tax planning. If you are interested in organizing a joint presentation or educational session for your clients or colleagues, we welcome the conversation. These work best when the topic is specific and the audience has a genuine planning need.

Making a Referral

When you refer a client, we follow up promptly, send them our confidential questionnaire, and conduct a thorough initial consultation before recommending anything or quoting a fee. We do not send referral fees and do not expect them. What we offer in return is a legal team that will serve your client well and reflect positively on your judgment in making the introduction.

If you would like to discuss a specific client situation before making a referral, you are welcome to call us.
